中新网酒泉10月25日电(马帅莎 曾玥)神舟十七号载人飞行任务新闻发布会25日在酒泉卫星发射中心举行。记者从会上获悉，中国将适时发射扩展舱段，将空间站基本构型由“T”字型升级为“十”字型。
中国载人航天工程办公室副主任林西强在会上表示，根据计划安排，未来中国将发射与空间站共轨飞行的巡天空间望远镜，开展广域巡天观测，后续还将适时发射扩展舱段，将空间站基本构型由“T”字型升级为“十”字型。
林西强表示，计划中的扩展舱段将上行多个领域的空间科学实验机柜和舱外实验装置，扩大应用规模，满足空间、科学研究与应用新需求；同时也将升级航天员在轨防护锻炼、饮食卫生等设施设备，提高航天员在轨工作生活和健康保障水平。目前该项目正在进行方案阶段研制工作。(完)
